Staying Grounded

Some BIG updates from our practice!

The past few months have been a whirlwind to say the least. To start, through some *unfortunate circumstances* that were totally out of our control, we decided to rebrand the business.

Down to Earth Nutrition is now Aterra Nutrition. We are the same dietitian practice that you have come to know and love. Through this rebrand, we knew we needed to keep the essence of the business tied to it's original name, as DTEN and Cristina herself are the epitome of down-to-earth. "Aterra" is a play on words - Cristina's mom is from Sicily, and in her dialect "terra" means earth, and "a terra" means grounded. It seemed like a perfect fit to bring together what food and eating are truly about: nourishment, family, tradition, and culture.

With a new name comes new beginnings!

We have a new website - aterranutrition.com - where you can find our new social channels and email address.

We are proud to announce that Cristina has virtual offices in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey. We are now in-network with Aetna, BCBS and Cigna! We are excited to bring our services to a wider population.

We're also extremely happy that our tagline, Sustainable Nutrition for Lifelong Wellness® is officially a registered trademark!

Lastly, we have created a new Intuitive Eating group program. Our original program, Intuitive Eating for Beginners, is such a success that we are now offering a group specifically for moms!

Please check out Gentle Nutrition for Moms and Moms-to-be. Feel free to share with anyone who might be interested.

As usual, thank you for all of the support you have shown our practice!
