Nourish Your Life is an interactive, supportive, year-long Intuitive Eating membership. Led by Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Cristina Luibil, join Aterra Nutrition as we guide you through the 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating, all while learning to build trust and self-compassion. Everyone's Intuitive Eating Journey is different and totally their own - start yours here.
Learn to fully nourish your life by reconnecting with your intuitive eater. This program will start in January 2025 and will be held over 12 months. For some, long-term change, success, and sustainability requires a long-term commitment. You can start working on your Intuitive Eating journey now.

Aterra Nutrition has been hosting a variation of this program since 2022.
We have had 4 cohorts, including one in 2023 that was part of a local workplace wellness initiative (so fun!). Our programming has always evolved with the needs of the community, with classes ranging in size, length (from 5, 6, 8, and 10 weeks), and time of year! Each cohort size and shape had its benefits and challenges, and all variations were considered overall helpful by the participants in kickstarting their Intuitive Eating Journey.

​In 2025, we are pivoting again and creating a more long term program.
Nourish Your Life will encompass A FULL YEAR MEMBERSHIP, from January through December 2025.
​
Included in the membership, you'll receive:

Another huge change is the option for monthly payments. We get it, a bigger price tag is sometimes not feasible. While you are welcome to pay in full ($660 due at registration), the membership offers monthly recurring payments of $55/month (with the first month due at registration to hold your spot; recurring payments start February and continue through December 2025).

Some folks also like to have 1:1 support to supplement what the membership group provides. We are in network for Aetna, BCBS, and Cigna and individual sessions with a registered dietitian may be covered by your insurance!

I get that Intuitive Eating is not a diet, but what if I can't give up the desire for a smaller body just yet? Can I still join?
Yes, you can. It is typical in our society to desire a smaller or different body, because that is what we are conditioned to believe is "better", due to the marketing of diet culture.
​
It is totally normal for those who start an Intuitive Eating Journey to still want to change their body in some way. We will learn in this program, with the support of others going through a similar experience, that we are not healthier if we diet and shrink our body size. We will use self-compassion and peer support to help us.
With Intuitive Eating, we use emotion, instinct and rational thought to guide us to a better relationship with food (and this definition of a "better relationship" is likely different for everyone). Intuitive eating is so liberating from the aforementioned pervasive sense of mental, emotional, and physical restriction. You will have such a sense of pride once you are on your own Intuitive Eating Journey.

I'm very intrigued! How does it work?
This membership will run in 12 monthly, online sessions (live for 60 minutes). Over the course of the year, you'll receive education, activities, prompts, and reflections to complete between sessions, as well as recipes, affirmations, non-diet resources, and socialization all while being in a moderated non-diet space with a dietitian and your peers. You'll be able and encouraged to share wins and talk through challenges with other intuitive eaters during our meetings and in the peer support group chat between sessions.​
Amazing! So, how do I join?
Here are the easy steps to join and become an intuitive eater:
Step 1. Click the button below to start registration by emailing Cristina. Please provide your full name, phone number, email address, and mailing address in this email.

Step 2. Receive all materials in the mail, compliments of Aterra Nutrition.
​
Step 3. Check your email for information about the peer support group chat and the upcoming sessions, including a guide to complete workbook items before the session. We call this guide "Your Inside Job". It's highly beneficial to complete Your Inside Job prior to each session, but it's OK if life gets in the way!

Step 4. Continue showing up for yourself with Your Inside Job, during discussions, in the group chat, and putting in the time for YOU towards your Intuitive Eating Journey!

Step 5: The BEST step! Begin YOUR journey towards becoming an intuitive eater!

What's in it for me if I join this specific Intuitive Eating membership?
The layout of the group sessions are based on a 2020 research study by researchers C.B. Burnette and S.E. Mazzeo. Since we are incorporating the methods and intervention of the published experiment, we have data and outcomes!

Intuitive Eating truly is life changing! These are AMAZING typical outcomes! Though outcomes or results can never be guaranteed, we're confident that you will feel empowered in your food and body relationship after becoming an intuitive eater.

Cool! Is there anything else I should expect?
We expect all program participants to be under the routine care of a physician.
​
A mental health provider, such as a therapist or counselor, is also a beneficial addition to a health care team. We encourage program participants to have an open mind if they feel they want or need to talk with mental health professional.

NOTE: if you are currently suffering from and/or are in early recovery from an eating disorder, please consult with your treatment team (therapist, RD, MD) before joining, as participants may be reflecting on their own lived experience during the group sessions.

Got it! So, if I join, does that mean I can talk to Cristina about personalized nutrition issues?
No, enrolling in this membership means that you are only joining this membership. It does not mean you have an individualized contract with Aterra Nutrition or Cristina Luibil. Complete details are outlined in the group service agreement.
